History

ALTRON is established as a limited liability company providing the sale and service of UPS units as well as UPS software and local UPS monitoring. The company grows from the outset, developing a long list of clients and growing its expertise with every project.

ALTRON's success on the Czech market leads to an expansion into Slovakia, beginning with the opening of the Bratislava office. Success on the Slovak market follows a similar path to that of the Czech market. ALTRON continues to expand its client portfolio.

ALTRON completes its first complex energy system project, paving the way for further large scale projects. Larger UPS systems as well as diesel generators, power switch boards and emergency lighting power sources are added to the portfolio, thus expanding our focus on infrastructure.

Success leads ALTRON to move from a limited liability company to a public shareholder company, resulting in greater investment into the business and more growth in a thriving market.

ALTRON begins cooperating with APC on Data Centre solutions.

ALTRON begins cooperating with KVR Technik Hořovice, a diesel generator manufacturer with whom ALTRON develops its own brand of motor generator.

ALTRON develops its own remote monitoring solution as well as winning its first monitoring client, this solution in time becomes one of the most sophisticated and versatile monitoring solutions for Data Centres available on the market. ISO 9001 certification obtained.

ALTRON buys KVR Technik Hořovice, begins the production and sale of a whole range of its own diesel generators, called Progen.

DC power sources and inverters are added to the product portfolio. ALTRON wins the contract to build out and maintain the Oskar mobile network in the Czech Republic, resulting the supply and maintenance of over 100 diesel generators.

ALTRON completes its first complete Data Centre project, the Nagano Data Centre, for a major telco client. Other complex Data Centre implementations follow for – Sitel, Vodafone, ČSOB, GE money, IATCC Jeneč, ŘLP, ČEZ…

ALTRON adds Data Centre Service, Maintenance & Operation to its portfolio. Several major blue chip clients sign Facility Management contracts with ALTRON for the Operation & Maintenance of their Data Centres. ALTRON opens its Central Monitoring & Control Centre, providing these services to clients and utilising the ALTRON Monitoring solution.

ALTRON begins cooperation with Newave for solutions.

ALTRON completes its first foreign projects in Russia and Bulgaria for major clients.

Several new Data Centres designed and implemented by ALTRON are completed, for clients including Vegacom and CEZ.

Several projects are completed for major clients including Vodafone, Telefónica O2, CZ Government.

Expansion into Ukraine.

Expansion into UAE. ALTRON buys Gauzy, a premier Czech provider of ICT solutions which complements ALTRON's Data Centre solution portfolio.

ALTRON opens its Dubai office and incorporates as a legal entity to further expand into the market.
