Standard ISO Containers:

All products in the MDC family are based on standard ISO shipping containers. This means easy transportation, handling and deployment.

Scalability:

Our MDC units small footprint and All-In-One design enable excelletn scalability, so as your business expands, you simply purchase further units.

Additionally the MMDC40 units are designed so they can be joined together with a common corridor to form large data farms.

Power Densities:

Our MDC units are all available in a range of configurations and power densities, to best match your needs and requirements.

Environmental Variants:

Available in LT (Low Temperature), ST (Standard Temperature), HT (High Temperature) versions to suit environmental conditions. Can also come with sun-shield and other options for high temperature climates.

TIER Flexibility:

Our MDC units come in configurations that match TIER I to TIER III level, meaning our solutions can always fit your business requirements.

Efficiency:

All MDC Products have a PUE of 1.7 or lower, resulting in cost savings and efficient operation.

Secure & Rugged:

Our MDC units are secure and can be fitted with a number of security options. They are protected against fire, intrusion, water e.t.c.

Sliding Racks & Hot / Cold Isles:

All units are fitted with sliding racks, allowing easy access to both the front and rear, while also maintaining a strict Hot / Cold isle separation for increased efficiency.

Standard Racks:

MDC units are fitted with standard sized racks, meaning they can accommodate a majority of available ICT hardware, networking components or other equipment.
The MDC is then easily re-usable and can be qickly fitted out for any task - it can adapt with your business.

Indoor / Outdoor Use:

All out units can be used indoors or outdoors.

All-In-One Design:

All of our units (apart from the MDR40) are based on our All-In-One design philosophy where everything necessary is fitted into one container, with no external attachments or boxes necessary (other than optional diesel generator and roof mounted antennas / satellites). This means easier installation an setup as well as scalability and transportation.

MDC units can be equipped with technology from a number of world leading vendors. Thus it can be adapted to any need and be equipped with the most appropriate equipment for peak operation.

ALTRON Mobile Data Centre Key Features:

There are four main MDC product types:

MMDC40 – the modular 40'shipping container based solution. Scalable with up to 10 units that can be interconeccted with a common coridoor.
MDC20 – the highly transportable and deployable 20'shipping container based solution.
MTC20 – a low power Telecommunicatons focused unit with integrated 48V DC power source and diesel generator for standalone operation in remote environments.
MDR40 – the 40'shipping container based data room. It is comprised of a minimum of 2 containers – one for infrastructure, 1 for ICT equipment.
